We unpack all of the labels and even label ourselves as how we would’ve been seen in high school. We dissect the heck out of all the different character pairings, including how fun it is to see Haley and Skills together, why Peyton doesn’t get to share anything with depth, and why Bevin and Rachel are even included in this episode (although, we do love Bevin’s speech!). We also touch on our high school reunion, our friendship through the years, and the coincidental timing of Sophia Bush coming out as queer in real time and we discuss Brooke’s ICONIC picture!

We’re ready to PAR-TAY at the Scott house! In our discussion of S4E14: Sad Songs for Dirty Lovers, we unpack Dan’s motives in getting close to Lucas and Karen, Nathan’s visit to Deb in rehab and our conflicting feelings about what he says to her, Leyton’s healthy and trusting relationship, and Peyton and Brooke’s slow reconciliation. Kaitlyn swoons over Leyton’s redo of the scene from season 1…but they still get interrupted and she desperately wants them to finally have their moment! We also discuss how Haley bitch slaps Rachel (and Jeremy thinks it’s not as satisfying as it could’ve been earlier in the season!), the Shelly and Mouth sex scene, and THAT twist ending that almost feels like fan fiction.
And oh, btw we’re canceling Naley’s unborn baby. K bye.

Yesterday, we received news via Deadline about a One Tree Hill reboot coming to Netflix, with Hilarie Burton Morgan, Sophia Bush and Danneel Ackles producing the series and reprising their roles from the OG. Of course, we had to record an emergency podcast to unpack this! We chat about our complicated feelings about this. Will it do the characters justice? What about Haley? How would it continue if some of the original cast were not to return? How are they navigating the fact that He Who Shall Not Be Named will get credit?
